OUR STORY

We are a team of passionate chefs who keep your health front and center while still blowing up your taste buds with our amazing creations. Whether you hire Chef Michael for a night of learning and eating with his fantastic cooking lesson experiences or have us cater your special event, we promise to always create our craft with the freshest ingredients sourced or foraged from as close to home as possible. While we do that, we will also pack as much flavour and nutrition as possible into our delicious menu items. You’re gonna love it!

Chef Michael Williams | Urban Forage

Born and raised in Victoria and a chef since graduating the Camosun Culinary arts program in 2002, Michael has trained at some of the area’s finest establishments including The Aerie Resort on the Malahat. After travelling to many wonderful places including an 18-month stint in Switzerland to learn his craft, Michael came home to re-establish his roots. He has been catering to and teaching Victoria his tantalizing and nutritious creations and has made a name for himself on TV as the “Island Chef”. Working in unison with local farmers and purveyors, Michael builds his cuisine with health and vitality in mind while making it taste amazing.
